Thursday(s)
written by burke
If I come home from my labour,
the clothes are black.
Ache in my knees and my legs,
and have a stiff neck.
Some drops of water, a coffee
And all I ever do.
I take my car, and drive to my randezvous.
Every Thursday I get the good times.
This evening is thrilling like TV crimes.
Yes, every Thursday get satisfaction.
Forget the cliches
That's Rock 'n Roll
If I get fight with my wife,
quarrel more and more,
I take my keys and my jacket
and throw the door,
I see the heads from the spies,
in the neighbourhood.
I think:" Hey, kiss my ass
Blockhead, understood"!
Every Thursday I get the good times.
This evening is thrilling like TV crimes.
Yes, every Thursday get satisfaction.
Forget the cliches
That's Rock 'n Roll
If I come home from my labour,

Ache in my knees and my legs,
and have a stiff neck.
